3 Months
I bought a 2012 Camaro LS2 about 3 months ago. Since then, I've taken it back for a crank shaft positioning sensor failure which required the sensor and the wiring harness to be replaced. Cadalytic converters failed right after that and both had to be replaced. This week an issue with the passenger air bags not turning on when I had a passenger and I need to have the torque converter replaced requiring yet another visit. Is anyone else having this much trouble so soon. I know the lemon laws in Missouri require 4 times with the same issue, but this seems a bit much for a car that's only 3 months old.
Concerned. |

Yes. So far I've been in 5 times for oil leaks. It's currently back in for a large coolant leak and just today I noticed the familiar rotten egg smell of bad cats. It has the Tremec gear bind/lockout issue which has been ignored by the dealer even though there are hundreds of people on here with the same issue. I also have the foul odor under the hood that many complain about.
I'm a half inch away from trading this bucket in for a 2013 Mustang GT. I've never had this many issues with all the cars I've owned, combined, over the past 30 years. |

I had a conversation with the service manager over this. They told me a GM rep would allow a trade in,but it would be treated as a trade in. I don't need their permission for that. Lol. They are at this time making my next car payment as a gesture. I hope I dont keep having problems or I'll be looking at that Mustang too.

I'm completely done with GM no matter what happens next. I've given this company my business for more than 30 years and every last time I come back thinking things are different I get kicked right in the nuts. It's time to give Ford a chance. |

I have seen that you have taken it to the dealership. Were they able to help you with the concern you are having? Please let me know! Brandon Chevrolet Customer Service
