I have a granddaughter, Mariah, who is just like your Abbey. She wants to be involved in everything.. and it's not just the attention she gets. She really wants to know how and why things work, etc. She goes home and tells her dad and mom what she learned.

My grandson, on the other hand, has absolutely no interest in working on cars... go figure.

I cherish the time Mariah chooses to spend with me as I know it will be short-lived. She has recently gotten a summer job so now the realities of life are closing in and I know the special times will be further between. Enjoy it while you can!

I was thinking the same thing, but it is hard to say no when she get's so into tearing parts off and putting them back on......

This car was meant for me help with all the kids, no backseats in my other cars. That translates to not a lot of money on mods..

Paint is cheap memories are priceless

I completely agree! Just teasing lol I would not be able to say a thing to a daughter that wanted to help so much.

My daughter is very similar, she is my partner in crime at all the car events, shes out of town this weekend and it felt wierd not havin her with me at a huge car show at the local dealership.
However she is more into my wifes Jeep Wrangler then she is with my Camaro(but that dont matter) but ever since I got the convertible, I feel she now has equal interests in either vehicle.

Very cool! I have a son (19) that raced Quarter Midgets for 7 years and he can't do most of that! He just wanted to be the driver and watch me do all the mechanic work! Wish he had the desire to learn all that your daughter knows. Keep up the good work.
