Hello
Hello,
I've been lurking for a bit and already found some excellent information, so figured I'd sign up. I recently purchased a 2011 Camaro SS, 6-speed stick 2SS, after test driving the Coyote equipped Mustang, Challenger, and C5 Corvette. I'd have likely been happy with any of them, but the Camaro was the winner. This is actually my 4th Camaro, but I've been away from them for awhile. Throughout my youth, I kept a sports car and a 4x4. The first was a 1985 Berlinetta. The small 6 cylinder was rather embarrassing for a Camaro, but at least it was a stick and had a Cherry bomb muffler so it was 80's cool. I joined the Army and replaced it with a 1989 IROC-Z, not fast by today standards but a big step up. The IROC was replaced with a 1980 Corvette and that lasted until I left the service. Shortly after entering the civilian world, I bought a nearly new 1997 Z28 with the 6 speed. THAT sucker was fast. I kept it until 2002 when I sold it ahead of moving out of the country for a few years. I've been driving mostly pickups since returning to the US, but after a recent reminder of mortality decided to get something to have some fun in as well. So, once again I've got a 6 speed stick Camaro. I'll likely be reading more than posting, other than a few questions here and there. Thanks for having me. |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
