Gas prices? Really? It sucks it's so high right now but I for one own my car for the sheer pleasure of driving it. I put nearly 20,000 miles on my "Weekend" cruiser last year. The longer the cruise the better in my opinion. The cruise from St. Chuck up the river road was awesome last year. Almost the perfect distance.....

So...here are some options, Rick, for the South Cruise, since you've asked for my input.

1) If anyone is up to it...cruise south to St. Genevieve and "Crown Country"...check out Crown Valley's new Brewhouse...a very scenic drive...lot of curves once we're on the back roads, but plenty of time for horseplay by the youngsters or [not so youngsters] on the way down 55-This would be my #1 choice

2) Cruise South 55 to Festus-cruise main street [nostalgic for those old enough to remember]

3) Cruise West 44 to Greensfelder Park or Babler State Park-out by 6 Flags-there's a couple of really nice "shelters" there where we could all group..No stop lights, hilly..centrally located for those headed back home in all directions. 4) Cruise West 44 to Meramec State Park. Again...traffic if 6 Flags is open..not so much fun..

5) Cruise South 21 to Washington State Park. Scenic, hilly and lots of curves..not so much traffic.

So when is the next meet-up? I'd love to be there. I'm stationed at Ft. Wood, so I'd definitely like to go to anything Camaro related

NOTICE: This event has Been rescheduled for May 14th 2011. I hope this date is good for everyone since it was a good date for Tilted Kilt and what events they already have planned..
