Nitto's

Is EVERY place on back order for Nittos?!?!? I'm trying to find some NT05R's 315/35-20 but so far no luck.

Even Nitto Invo's seem to be on back order.

I just had a set of NT-05's delivered yesterday from discounttiredirect.com. Great prices and free shipping. They had multiple sets. I ordered 275/40/20 and 315/35/20. Took me a long time to find them.

Did you call and talk to them? When I ordered, their website showed none in stock. I called to ask if they were expecting any. They had 16 sets sitting in a truck that had not been inventoried. Tires shipped next day.

I feel your pain. It took me weeks of calling around to find them. Good luck.

What do you think will be better for a 20x10.5 rim? 305/35-20 or 315/35-20?
They have some Nitto NT555R's in stock in 305s...but they are out of the NT05R's

I chose the 315 for an 11.5 wheel. I would check nitto's website for recommendations. If your offset is correct you will not have rubbing issues. It makes sense to me to have as large a footprint as possible. My opinion is that the 315 fills the wheel better.

I had the same issue tying to get my NT-05's (275/40ZR20 front; 315/35ZR20 rear).

The place kept telling my installer "Not in stock". Summer tire only not produced all year round. And the final straw was "delayed production" due to plant being right next to the damaged Nuke plant in Japan (It is real close by).

So I contacted Nitto myself thru their website. They said they had plenty of stock in their California warehouse. The distributor my installer was using appeared to not even try and get them from that Nitto warehouse. Maybe because they only come out of there now because production was transferred there? Maybe, not 100% sure of that.

Needless to say, my installer is shipping my new Forgeline rims (20x11 & 20x10) and Nitto NT-05's today!!! It has been one of the more longer, frustrating things to deal with.

HAVE THEM CHECK THE NITTO CALIFORNIA WAREHOUSE.

I agree very frustrating. I checked every brand out there. I contacted them directly. I considered toyo R888s, but toyo and nitto are owned by the same company. They told me they will not produce competing tires. Bridgestone has not adopted the 20" sizes yet. Give it a year or two.

Well It seems like I am out of luck for a 315/35-20 Nitto DR. The next step down is a 305/35-20. Should I pull the trigger? Or wait?

I'm pretty sure Jannetty has a set in stock on the showroom floor. He always had. I can't remember if I saw them today or not. Def worth a call or email.
