I going to have to try that, because all the dealer is telling me right now is that it doesn't exist

Guys, I just PM'd MaureenM@RodgersChevrolet for a set of the 3.91 gears. Maureen says that the system shows stock which means she can get these bad boys!

Got one on order!

Can someone answer my question please. What else besides the gears are needed to be installed?

Get an install kit from one of the sponsors. My ring and pinion set came with a crush sleeve and pinion flange nut. Your installer may also need pinion seal, shims and bearing if needed.

Anyone know if the ZL1 or 1LE uses stiffer durameter bushings in the diff and rear susp/subframe.

Along with going with the 3.91s, I'd like to firm up the rear marshmallow feel, but not the road noise of the super hard poly bushings.

Most of that mushy feel comes from the subframe mounts. Our ZL1 uses the same durometer rear subframe bushing as the 2012 V8's as far as we can tell. Honestly if you're going through the hassle of dropping the rear subframe to swap mounts out you should probably do it once, and do it right the first time. Our Solid Subframe Mounts really do make a massive difference in the feedback and performance from the rear end of the car, without significant impact to ride quality. If you move to a stiffer poly replacement for the differential mounts that can definitely run the risk of increasing noise from the differential, but the subframe mounts are pretty quiet and will definitely accomplish what you're looking for.
