Here's a good guide to the differences between the NA release and the international release.

That's pretty cool but does that mean the voice acting will change as well?

I believe it's the same.

That's good I was hoping I wouldn't have ot read subtitles the whole game or have different voices than I was use too. I do wish it was a Digital release though cause all the other ones have been.

So been playing this game since Tuesday and it looks amazing in with the Updated HD visuals. Also the sphere grid system is as awesome as I remember it well back too it I guess.

Would love to play this, but I don't have enough time at the moment to even think about starting a Final Fantasy game. Maybe in a month.

Did you go with the regular sphere grid, or the "advanced" grid?

Also, this is the international version of the game, so there will be more content, and quite a few more weapons and armor.

I did advanced grid but I haven't noticed the difference that much and I don't remember what armor and weapons are different but I do like to customize the armor and weapons with stuff I steal from enemies. But I feel I have messed up a couple things too early on in the game and missed some stuff in the temples that I will regret later on. I know the last time I played this game over 5 or 6 years ago I never got to the Ultima spell cause I didn't have enough Level4 unlock spheres and some of the unlocks do awesome stuff when pairing them with weapons or armor so its a big decision to use some of it. But I am having a ton of fun with it.

I'm going to do my typical way of playing (even though I remember wayyyy more about FFX than I'd care to admit) by playing through the main story line the first time with no help.
Then the second time though I'll use guides and see what I missed, and play the side quests and whatnot.

Yea that's how I play too just go through the story with a lil bit of lvl griding to get a lil further in the sphere grid and since I don't remember everything its all kinda new again for me so that's the cool as well. But if it was FFVII I never forget anything about that game it is one of my fav games just ahead of FFX slightly

I went the Lamecube route back in the day so that I could get my grubby hands on the Resident Evil remake and RE0 and RE4. So now I'm finally playing this game for the first time ever. Good stuff so far, but the inability to skip cutscenes is killing me. I was killed by Yunalesca (after a 30 min cut scene) a week before Camaro5Fest and have just now gotten the motivation to get back in for some level grinding. This cutscene is brutal. I feel by the time I finally beat her I'll know the dialogue word for word.

I'm not complaining about the length per sé, but the inability to skip'm. I love the cinematic qualities of the game so far, but it's frustrating to sit through the same one 4 times. 5th time will be tonight after work.

Most RPG's I've played won't let you skip them until you've beat the game.
