Anyone running 245/45-20 on a 9" wheel?

Anyone running 245/45-20 on a 9" wheel?

I need to run 9" wheels all the way around as I need to replace a messed up front wheel and only 9s are available. I will need to run 245s in front and 275s on rear, can't replace the tires cause they are new.

Any issues with this setup?

Thanks for your help.

Jim

I have 20x9s all around with 245/45/20 as my winter wheel set up.

It works, but the wheel rim sticks out past the tire. I'm probably going to go to a square 275 setup the next time I purchase snow tires.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

It wouldn't be terrible to run for a little bit until you can put a square 275 set up all around. I much prefer square set ups so that you can rotate tires, and this way you are setting up for the future.

Thanks.

Problem is I have a pair of General G-Max RS Tires on the front with maybe 1500 miles on them, and I will be lucky to put on 5,000 in a year. I should have dealt with the rims before the new tires, and of course the wheel that is bad is now discontinued. I will figure something out, am looking for a set of stock wheels cheap.

My car currently has 9" on the front and 10.5" on the rear. It has 245/45-20 and 275/40-20 on the rear. I rather like the way it looks myself.
