I think Pete Carroll and John Schneider can build a defense out of shoestrings and it will still be good. Maybe not as good as 2012-14 when we were dominant, however enough to balance.

I'm actually not too worried because we'd already been dealing with his first contract which was pretty big for the time. Salary cap goes up.

Keeping Russell Wilson and paying him that much money insures that the team will be competitive enough to maybe make the playoffs, but not deep enough to make a legitimate Super Bowl run.

So it's lose/lose - you're good enough to not have the high draft picks needed to improve the team, but not good enough to win it all. And you're cap limited when it comes to signing/keeping free agents.

Tom Brady was the 22nd highest paid QB in 2018. That's a big reason why the Patriots are always good.

the Raiders & Buccaneers both go 49 Days between Home Games! The only team not on Primetime is the Buffalo Bills, while the Browns are on 4 times. This would Never happen to the Patriots!

Buffalo plays Dallas Thanksgiving day. It may not be a Sunday night, Monday or Thursday night game but I would think playing Thanksgiving day would qualify as primetime.

And in other news... The Browns continue to win the off-season!!! Trade up three spots to get Greedy Willams before somebody else came to their senses. Steal of the draft so far.

Dolphins get Rosen (and 2020 5th round pick) after all. Arizona got pick 62 and chose Andy Isabella.

That actually ended up being a win for both teams. Isabella is going to be a really good one.

as a Browns Fan, I would disagree. There was a reason Greedy fell - he can't tackle & he's a beanpole.

And nobody ever heard of Takitaki before.

And a Kicker, they are as bad as the Bucs. BTW, in the last 5 Years the Bucs have Drafted 2 Defensive Ends & 2 Kickers!
