Convertible Sport Bar and painted calipers
A friend installed my Sport Bar and painted my calipers red. It's a personal preference, but I like the look of the bar on a convertible. And the grey calipers always drove me crazy. In the fall I blacked out the rear Bow-tie, and installed black taillight bezels. For me it was strange that the only chrome on the back of the car was the bezels. But again, just my preference. Previously I've done a grill insert, CAI and painted engine cover. Up next is 3.91 rear swap and install a Borla attack cat back. Then a tune to correct the speedo for the gears.

Added a sub and amp. Still need to tidy up the wiring to the amp. Will work on that this weekend.
Changed my brake pads after running the Powerstop Z26 pads for 5 months. Just didn't like the Z26 pads at all. They don't have the same stopping power and they squeal. Back to OEM Brembo pads. Also detailed it after what seemed like 2 weeks of rain. and now it's drizzling this morning. |

Well I opened up my ikonmotorsports box and took a look at my 6th gen bumper. Can’t wait to test fit it on Friday.

Got beat by a cammed 5.0 this weekend... twice....
After a few rolling pulls, lowered my tinted window to give them a thumbs up.... the 5.0 lowered theirs only for me to see a gorgeous girl driving that bad boy... man, she was the bomb.... I yelled out beautiful, you and the car....and had I not been on the freeway with her in very light traffic, I might have asked her to pull over... Sorry guys, got my bolt-on supped up ride beat by a New Mustang 5.0, and a girl to top it off lol Looks like I need to go FI asap. Thinking turbos.... Also, 167.5k miles, and still looking gorgeous.... at least lol |

I just placed the order for my GPI SS1 cam kit with CHE Trunnion bushing upgrade, HP Tuners, and Remote GPI tune by Ryan. I would like to have gone bigger but no stall or gears yet, and honestly want to keep driveability at a premium. I was originally going to go with a baby cam. Not anymore.
I CANNOT WAIT! Earned Income and Child Tax credit FTW!

Installed Kooks long tube headers, Kooks exhaust, Cold Air Inductions intake and a tune. Bought everything from DynoSteve(RDP)....what a great guy! Picked his brain over the phone and he answered several of my questions and helped me build a package at a great price!
Also ordered ZL1 replica wheel/tire package from Factory Reproductions! My wife will definitely be throwing me out, but it's so worth it!!!!!

Nice, congrats! I've debated heads and cam myself internally throughout the years... always comes back to driveability. I know there are many options out there, but I just love where its at right now. Its a sweet spot for me, even if it aint the fastest car out there. Right now, I can comfortably cruise in 6th with a nice purr... all the while the beast awakens at WOT. I'm (still) happy. |

Yea its ridiculous how it makes the car looks so much lower and they really do complete the front end IMO. I have the SLP style splitter and yours looks even lower than that. Which style is that? It looks like the 2014-2015 1LE splitter style.
