March 19 looks like the debut for GM's revolutionary new engine which may not be based on the inline 6, this could be a game changer in the full size truck market. The article also has GM's head of global propulsion quoted about the totally in-house designed 3.0 inline 6 diesel engine.

Wonder if thats the opposed piston engine that Achates Power has been working on. They said that they had a major OEM partner, and it would count as a revolutionary engine.
