2014 v6 torque converter
Chevy is quoting me $2000 for a torque converter replacement. 10 hours in labor, transmission fluid refill, and $500 for the part. Am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculous? What would you do in my situation? Different shop?

Well when I swapped out my 3200 to a 4200 it cost me about 1300 bucks at my dealership, which 400 bucks of that was for replacement parts that the "bad" converter destroyed. It was an 8 hour job in their system. Depending on what they are charging you for labor, per hour, it could be around there.
