Update. I did manage to contact TechNostalgia. Apparently they are still in operation and the website is working fine. I traded a few emails with Jacob and found out that they changed the design after 2014 and I can't get just one light or a repair. He did offer me a whole new set (yes even the harness needs to change) for $350 as a repeat customer. I'm not sure if I want to go for it, but that means my old set is up for grabs. It still has 3 good lamps, the resistors, and I haven't removed the wiring but I could. Any offer will be considered. PM me. My set is 6701B for 2010-13. Only the far-right lamp is toast.

I repaired mine a few times and I agree. When I got replacement strips I purchased 8 just in case, and sure enough at least 2 never got past the first bend.

Did you contact Technostalgia, or COOLLEDS, the company who does make them. I'd like to contact them as well. Thanks.

Sounds like your set is as old as mine. If you have 4-pin connectors to the harness your harness needs to be updated as well. Included, but makes it a bigger job.

He mentioned the new ones have brighter LEDs. That is hard to believe because I had people behind me shielding their eyes when they were stopped behind me.

Yes sir. Wow brighter huh? I couldn't imagine that!! I have had the same with mine. I had a guy that I worked with behind me one morning on his motorcycle headed to work about 6am and he said when I put my brakes on they were "blindingly" bright. He then told me that they should be illegal, lol. I told him at least you can see me when I'm braking!! I have since then put the Phastek smoked tail light film on them, and they are still pretty bright. Never had any LEO problems with them, tinted or not. Thanks again for the contact info..

If you have the 4-pin connectors (doubtful) I can sell one or more of my good lights. Only my far right lamp is dead. PM me if you are interested.
