I just use Rain-X and removed my wipers altogether for weight reduction.

Wiper blades, Camaro's have wiper blades, doesn't that add to the drag coefficient? Do they work at 100 MPH?

Bosch fan

I just replaced mine the other day with Bosch ICON with ClearMax 365™ for my 2012 SS. The 24A (left) was $14.50 and the 21B (right) was $13.74 at rockauto.com. Best money I ever spent on wipers. These puppies really hug the windshield. I wish it would rain, but they sure wiped away the washer fluid.

Agree with OP. Really like OEM Camaro blades they did a great job in design of the reverse airfoil shape so they work perfectly at high speed and hide below the back contour of the hood well.
Plus smooth looking and blend right in. Those things are made for high speed - passes the test!

I was at a track day when it was raining off and on. Another Camaro driver was complaining about his brand new wiper blades not working worth a sh*t. A couple of us went to check it out and found he neglected to remove the protective plastic sheath from the blades. He was amazed with how much better they worked without it... he bought a few rounds after the session.

I took my car mats out and shook them off once. I could also post a tutorial...

I was gonna ask a related question but I don’t know after all this grief. I’m a little long in the tooth so I’ve bought a wiper blade or two. The OEMs on this car are some of the best I’ve had. Quiet, efficient and they last. Four years into it they are still in good shape.

Can you elaborate, do you have a video?
I was thinking about this doing this to mine but I am nervous.

Nothing beats OEM, esp. the plastic that shades the rubber

I just dumped thousands of dollars into my car for performance mods and i keep putting off getting new wiper blades, i knew i forgot something. I might be able to reduce drag if I got some new wipers that could clean all those pesky bugs off my windshield!
