Just was checkin to see if anyone else is in my boat. I ordered first day you could in Canada. Still no car. (Pre-orders and $$$ down is SO worth it!!!!)

Not kidding, I think its TPW was the 9th of june. Still no car, been in QC for a long time.

Well technically... no car yet after 8 months (Oct 20th).

However............................ my first order came in a few weeks ago and very quicky was bought by someone.

Looks like my wait will be a total of 9 months or so, once this one arrives.

well i am at 3300, so should be 9-10 months for me (ordered 2nd day). It doesn't bother me much cause i dont need need the car till august, so it should work out good. also i hope gm has had time to work out all the little kinks by now.

Sorry to say the pre-order was not an order. Unfortunately GM did not really know what problems and expectations taking these pre-orders was going to cause since they had to do the allocation thing. If I were you I would find a dealer with allocation or just find one the is on the lot that is selling for MSRP. There are a lot of cars out there going for MSRP and there will be more as the weeks and months go by. I decided to not order because of the frustrations of waiting for the car, allocations and hold ups in quality check. I monitor the dealerships for the car I want and when it pops up I will get it if it is selling for at or below MSRP.

mine was built May 26. Supposed to be delivered on July 6 according to the invoice but as of Thursday it hadn't showed up at the Jessup, MD railyard so I'm doubtful.

7553 was ordered 10/13/08 at 10am and delivered 5/22/09.................that's 7.5 months.

but trust me..........it IS worth the wait!

Been waiting since early december here, I know it isn't as long as some on here, but I feel when you pre order you really shouldn't have had to wait this dang long. I am sure it is worth the wait but seriously?

Yes it sucks to wait, but look at the bright side. You leave the possibility for future additional rebates or other discounts that may show up later on down the road (before your car actually arrives). I would keep an eye on that while you wait. If you're lucky, you may be able to lower the price of your original deal.

This is actually a great point. I ordered on 10/13 (order entered on 10/16) and my car just got produced a couple of weeks ago. I stopped by my dealer earlier this week and he said he had good news. I was now eligible for a $1,000 off. So although it has been tough at time watching other people get their cars who ordered after me, I don't mind getting some money off.

10 months? Oct 13th til' July 1st....................8.5 months by my calculations.
