besting the 228 (while hard to do as it's such a nice looking wheel!~ ) should be the goal, and imho, the design shown doesn't meet or exceed that 228 threshold...
I have a different opinion. The 228 is not really a concave wheel and is not up to the appearance or concavity of the ZL-1 replica. This wheel would compete with the ZL-1 replica and with some additional options that I posted earlier it can be an outstanding choice. That being said, the price has to be competitive, too.

Do we have a price range yet? I assume these are Chinese cast wheels, correct?

No pricing yet, but super competitive is what they are aiming for.

The wheel we are working on is more clean cut IMO, sharper lines more mean looking.

as far as splits go, curious if you've possibly considered something more along the lines of these as well:

20x10.5" with the back spacing needed to run a set of 295/35 tucked all inside the fenders (it's doable by an expensive custom manufacturer) I think a small 5mm spacer is needed up front. With a strong and light wheel and you will have a bunch of track rats buying them. I would...

Or Z-28 front specs for dedicated track wheel.

Assuming the decision to take this wheel to production occurs next week, please estimate the approximate date they will be available for purchase.

IMHO, they look better than the Havoc's, less busy, cleaner lines. I'd buy a set if they were forged. These would be even easier to clean then the stock 1LE/ZL1 wheels.

Please add to factory ZL-1 wheel. That is the standard for comparison.

Finishes are open to discussion so if you have a finish you like state it well put it into consideration.

Right now we are not sure of when they'll be coming in but when we do it'll be soon and very fast.
You need to offer these wheels in the 19 & 20 in. sizes THAT IS SO BADLY NEEDED!TRUST ME, You would have no trouble selling them!

Why do you think that GM used the 19 in. wheels for the Z28? It was because the car needed them to compete with ALL the other cars in its class.

Your right, We would need to however do a completely different process for the 19" to clear the SS, 1LE and Zl1 brake calipers, but thats something that has to be brought up to the head guys and work with them to see what can be done.
