Thanks for the feedback Russ. I think I'm gonna go with either the XC40s or 41s. From what I understand the 41s will work on the street too, just might be a little noisier.

The way I see it is I have nothing to lose, the price is nearly the same as OEM, and my CCM rotors will either last longer (if the Racing Brake claims are true) or at worst about the same as they would have done anyway. I don't see anyone anywhere claiming that the fully sintered pads would be worse on the rotors!

How many events are you getting out of a set of the 41 pads?

I will usually do a 60 to zero hard brake without engaging abs then do that 5 or so times then cool down on a freeway with no braking for about 20 minutes for the cool down.
