2015 SS 1/4 mile - top speed lift
Last week I had my first 1/4 mile run with my 2015 Camaro SS - CAI, TSP 3” exhaust, tuned, OEM Pirelli P Zeros. Once I reached 98-103MPH the car seemed to either lift or get soft on traction. The track was a bit damp - pre rain out but not sure that had any effect.
What should I expect at that speed? |

I’ve been over that speed by a pretty good bit and mine is stable no traction issues. I’ve got bgfs on mine.

I drive the same car and while I’ve not had it at the track, it gets to 100 mph rather easily. Never noticed it getting lighter! “But if she had a set a wings man I know she could fly...”

If the track was damp you might notice a skating on the surface sensation.
The nose on these things doesn't get light until 140-150.
