"NEEDED"; Brake Lines Gen 5 SS

Trying to help a young man out who got his self in a pickle. Excited and not knowing what to look for he purchased a used Gen5 Camaro SS, paid far to much but that's water over the dam.

All of the calipers are in dire need of replacement, unlikely 3 can even be rebuilt, rotors are shot and the brake lines look like they have seen the best of life.

I have a beautiful set of calipers, pads and rotors that I am going to put on for him. Trying to save some money so I am looking for the following if you might have the parts laying around and willing to let them go reasonably.

1. Would like to find a used but clean set of brake lines, front and rear.

2. Three of the four banjo bolts that hold the lines to the calipers are so corroded they are frozen in place.

If anyone can help out I would greatly appreciate it and willing to pay a fair/reasonable price.

Larry

I don't have any of the parts needed.

I just wanted to say thank you, that's a real stand up thing you're doing for him.

Thank you, I think when all of us were young we got our selves into a jam or two when it came to cars. I was so excited to get my very first car I traded my hunting rifle for a pewter gray Rambler Ambassador, rubber floor mats, radio delete and the paint was flatter than a dog turd. But it was mine.

So many times, especially around the military bases, you see our young service men/women being taking advantage of, upsetting. Thank God the majority of the military bases have what us old timers call a "Hobby Shop", now days they are called "Automotive Skill Centers". Very well equipped with all needed tools and employees that are certified mechanics that can lend a hand. I enjoy hanging out there and helping service members out.

Thanks Larry

OK, I have the rear two brake lines in mint conditions!

WHO has a set of front 2010-2015 Camaro SS brake lines? I know someone out there has them!

I may have a set of front SS lines. Send me a PM and I will check tomorrow. May even have the hardware to go with them.

I may have kept my stock lines after upgrading. I'll check after I get off of work.

Have had a couple of standup individuals step forward with lines. For now it appears I have the won this portion of the battle. If something doesn't work out I'll let you good folks know.

Once the lines arrive I should have everything to do the job. I have 4 low mileage calipers that came with the OEM pads that are like new and 2 used but very nice rotors.

Again, thank you my friends.
