GMpartsdirect is a good deal. I ordered from Late Model Resto and the shipping for the emblems were only $6.99. I was thrown off by the $14.99 shipping but after adding to cart, the shipping came up $6.99. Still about 5,6 bucks more than GMpartsdirect. I liked the fact that Resto had them in stock.

guys dont forget... the SS symbols are red and white... i think it would look best if you got chrome ones if you chose to put them underneath the camaro decal... we gotta find out the part number for the malibu chrome ss pieces. one member on here, dont remember who, put those on his car and they looked perfect

Nah, I got the RS package, so my emblems are gonna be red under the Camaro name.

Looks like the red SS is on back order. I got an email today from gmpartsdirect.com:

Part Number 92228475: Back Ordered (Part is on national backorder with GM, GM does not currently have an ETA for the part to be released. Please email us with your order number and this part number, if you wish to wait or wish to remove the part from your order. The order can not be cancelled, only this part can be removed from the order. Once the part has been released off of backorder the part can not be cancelled.)

Thanks - gmpartsdirect.com appears to have the best prices - the national backlog has the badges and most other accessories tied-up. I've had the splash guards, trunk mat and RS badges on back-order since early June.

Hopefully as GM is close to exiting bankruptcy the supply chain will re-start.

Yep, they're evidently short on lots of things right now. My LPO engine cover never arrived and no word from GM to my dealer as to why, so I finally persuaded him to order one (VR) for me - backordered!
Guess I'll get on the waiting list for some red SS badges and hope they get rolling again soon.

I agree with that. I personally don't like the look of the SS under the camaro badge on the side of the car, I actually don't really like camaro being there and may remove it eventually. Anyways if you have an SS RS all the logos anywhere on the car should be red.
