Starting Issue
I have a 2017 2SS M6. Usually this happens once a day. I get inside, sit down, and as I go to start the vehicle it does not. The engine turns over for a split second then stops. I can press the button again and it may or may not even engage the starter at all. Usually by the third attempt it starts. Yes I am holding the clutch pedal all the way and yes I am holding the start button all the way down. Has anyone else experienced this or may have some information as to why this is happening? Thanks.

It doesn't sound like any simple DIY fix if you are sure the clutch pedal is fully engaged and you aren't letting off at all. I would go to the dealer for a possible starter.

I agree. When I had the hot start issue last year, they opted to just replace my battery instead of installing the heat shielding around the starter. Started having the same slow start problem last week and it wasn't even hot. Now my car is at the dealer again due to a dead battery.
