TEST DRIVES!
I'll have to wait until 2010 or 2011 to get one, so I'll be on a first name basis with the dealer by then. Maybe if I annoy them enough with the test drives and stopping by to see it they'll lower the price to get rid of me! |

I am at the bottom of my car history.
I am currently driving a 2006 Civic EX AUTOMATIC. *Puts on Flame suit* However there is alot of logic behind it, all which leads to savings for my new Camaro. 1st. The payment is only 265 a month...My SS was 476 before i paid it off. 2nd. I have never had it in the shop once, it's soooo reliable. $0.00 in maintenance. 3rd. I average 36mpg on regular gas. To date, i have only spent 675.00 on gas since 1/1/07. 4th. It will be my second car that I have paid off early, which means I will have even better credit than i do now. 5th. I keep it in great shape, and it has relatively low miles, I am hoping i can get a good return on it. Right now, i think I could make about 6k, but hopefully by early 09, it will be paid off, and I will have about 10-11k in equity in it. |

The 2 years I owned my 2000 S10 I never had it in the shop. Same with my '95 Cavalier, had it 5 years and never once in the shop other than regular maintanence. |

I wish it would come out that soon, not that I'd buy it then. That way all the "I want mine first" people would have thinned by the time I order mine in mid-March/ early April.

No flame suit needed. I've got a 2006 Civic SI. The FG1 is a gorgeous car. One of Honda's best yet if you ask me. It'll be a great 2nd car!

The only flaming should have been
2nd. I have never had it in the shop once, it's soooo reliable. $0.00 in maintenance. Sorry but I bet you have changed the oil and other misc items. I guess with my 04 Jeep with 51K miles it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO since I have not done anything either. |

I want one as soon as it's available - but since I'm in Europe, that'll be a year (ish) after you guys get it. So, likely, some time early in 2010. Our model will have to meet different standards (even the LHD Corvette does) so the specs will likely be slightly different too.
I can wait. I'm not allowed a new car for 2.5 years anyway (the girlfriend has me by the purse-strings!). |

My second Dakota was the first year of the new design and I had only two problems and the dealer fixed the very quickly. First was the radio crapped out, and Second the mechanic notice that a couple small pieces of clear coat was coming off the rims, so the dealer ordered four new rims for my truck.
So I'm not too worried about first year Camaro. |

All of the sudden i am finding a great appeal to the fourth gen Camaro waiting on the fifth to come out. I think that I am going to(probably after my anniversary) get a 94-00 SS or Z-28 to entertain me until the fifth comes out. Question for 4th gen owners................. what would be some great racing slicks to get for that body style?
