Flappy, clicking sound on startup, goes away after a while

Is that one of the belts, or something else in the engine bay?

Need a vid of the sound to really know because there are a few things that can cause a clicking sound.

- frayed belt (but it would vary on rpms and wouldn't go away. damage would be highly visible)
- worn pulley (but it would vary on rpms and wouldn't go away)
- ac compressor clutch sticking (can be tested by turning off the ac next time before turning the car off and see if it still does it next time you start the car)

Your in Arizona with a v-8 with a pic of a modified hood....engine modified? It may be starter heat stroke and then I would recommend the starter in my sig...… or a simple Armadillo spreading Leprousy….
