$2100?
Was quoted $2100 to put on LT headers, cam, springs, pushrods, have custom tune and dynoed. To much? Seems like alot but then again i have no clue.

That sounds a little cheep for parts & labor.
Just guessing but that sounds like about 1900 worth of parts without any labor. |

Someone around here was quoted 2500 just to install and purchase a camshaft. Interesting!

All that for $2100. That must just be the install. You gotta buy the parts right?

Labor on the Cam swap should be about 12.5 hours. Headers around 4.5 hours.
plus tune & Dyno time. Also have to add a few hrs for springs. |

I don't have warranty time but I know it is less.
You already have the rockers and push rods off to do the cam so you take off some of the valve spring labor for that. Labor guides don't list headers so you use Manifolds and most shops will add time for welding if needed & building O2 harness extenders if you don't have them. I am just telling you what a labor guide lists. |

Any chance you can do the install yourself? Took me 3.5-4 hours a night to complete in 5 days with the help of a friend. We took our time since it was the first cam swap/springs/lt headers/tune/airbox I've done and it's pretty straight forward. I'm sure myself and others can give you any advice you need to save ya some coin. Intimidating job but can be done and the satifaction of turning the key and seeing your work in motion is pretty cool!
