After CamaroFest VI me and 5 other Camaro's went to the Tail of The Dragon on Sunday. This is the place we stayed at on Sunday night. It's right near the beginning of the Tail.

Hey guys, I'm just curious since I've never attended one of these before - how do the folks coming from far away (i.e. - 1k miles each way) usually make the trip? Do most people just drive their Camaros there, have them shipped and fly, or leave the Camaro at home?

We're trying to decide if we will do it before or after. Wife's flying in/out of Louisville for this trip. (Family's there.). Leaning more for after. Would be more interesting with some others that I know (or will know).

Most drive it out in Camarovans across the country some drive solo I believe some trailer their cars aswell. It's all types and kinds of attendance if your looking to go with a group check your regional section or the camarovan section under the fest sub-forum.

We do have a group leaving from MA going thru NY and meeting up with some people in Columbus, OH for the rest of the trip to Bowling Green, KY and there's another CT member meeting us in Columbus, OH but going through PA instead. his handle is darknightkamaro on here.

Majority drive them. Some trailer them. But vast majority drive.

Yeah I'm interested but not sure about the Dragon while at Fest. I say this because there is a F1FTY group doing a Dragon run at some point.

Would love to do it both times, but I only get so many crosses of the Mississippi.

Had to pick between the two, chose the Fest due to never having been to one before.
