Same here, on the highway I have no issues at all, nice and smooth at 75-80mph. Locks up at 55 in 5th gear..Cruises at 1600-1800rpm.

Circle d also makes a good converter. I just went with Fti because I got a good deal on it. And yes you will have to get a trans tune done once you install the converter. Neither one will have shuddering or a studder feeling if tuned correct no matter which stall you choose.You could easily run a 4200 stall on this car and with a good tune would have no ill effects except the engine revving higher when you start out and a fuel mileage drop. Not saying that’s what you want or need just don’t go with a different stall then your combo needs for fear of it shuddering or stuttering. |
