I agree that last time's almost full day rain is a rarity for a summer day & odds are if we get a shower it will pass & track will dry. I will be there with fingers crossed for dry & not oppressively hot weather.
I'm with you on that. Interior is one of my main concerns. Most people say how much fun driving in the rain is, but I can't not think about my interior. I also can't afford to damage my car. If the track is wet I will still run, but if it is actively raining my driving would be very limited.

My opinion on wet track:
Dry track is whole lot more fun than wet track for me.
Wet track is whole lot more fun than sitting in the office, dreaming about track day.

As others said, we learn a lot from wet track. I'll just drive much slower if it is wet, and still have fun.
That being said, NCM with newer pavement wasn't too bad when wet, if I remember correctly. Some tracks (Mid-O for example) feel like ice skating when wet, especially if it is cold. (You gotta find complete different driving line) We will be running in July so at least it won't be cold.

Let's just pray for dry day and enjoy whatever the weather we get.

Added you to the list!!

We now have 52 drivers signed up and registered to do this road course - That's enough to make it outstanding already. We only need 23 more of you guys to pile on so we can get the full course going.

5 minute video of my shake down run from tuesday. just making sure nothing jacked up before i take it for the NASA comp dyno pull. cold conditions on crappy tires. no fast stuff here.
just a good look at what the facility looks like right now. you can see the viewing areas on the front of the garages and where the red railing is on top of the tower.
for some reason, my gopro audio makes me sound like a hillbilly lol.

Matt is excited for the camaro event. we talked about it the other day.

I appreciate you posting up a video for us guys who have never been there so we can see what it looks like and of the other stuff at the track.

Nothing wrong with sounding like a hillbilly, backbone of america right there. haha
