I am now taking the same approach with my dealer for the reasons being that I know more than they do (they still insist production started 2/16) and that I get the feeling that they get annoyed when I call. I have only called them about 4 times since I ordered in October. It blows my mind considering how easy I made the "sale" for them and the fact that they may be put on the chopping block by GM since they are a small dealer.

my dealer got 0 for march as well,(they were allocated 6) but i ordered a v6 anyways, so apparently im double screwed.

I'm also in the "my dealer is an idiot category"!! They have a total of 5 allotted to them of which I am number three, but it seems every time I call there, they act as if I don't know what I'm talking about. At this point I'm just gonna ride the wave until I hear from them. So far they said they have not been able to preorder any cars.

Tate Chevy in Annapolis. They're forthcoming with info, but I have to initiate by asking the questions.

"have not been able..." They are certainly able - which means they won't pre-order. Why?

Maybe I should have rephrased that. They were able to preorder the 5 cars they had allotted to them by GM. They said that they did not get a spot for the March consensus to send in a preorder in for production.

Not to start a "S##T STORM"....but if the dealer was on a cash hold with there bank ....the factory will not give them a slot(.) no matter what any may say!!!!!!!!!!...Not that this would be possible with our current economy?
