Questions for GM Performance CAI for V6, Chevy 15% off promo

This is my first post so I apologize if this was posted in the wrong spot. I have a 2017 Camaro 2LT RS V6. I would like to know if anyone has already bought / installed the OEM GM Performance cold air intake in their gen 6 V6 Camaro. I want to get this for my own car but want to know final numbers for the cost and installation at a GM shop.
The reason I prefer this CAI is because it's a GM Performance part installed by GM thus it doesn't void the warranty. It also comes with a tune. And right now Chevrolet is offering 15% off there performance parts with promo code STREET15 shown here http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/gen6camaro/intake
So can anyone share some knowledge regarding the above? Thanks.

Only way to get a cost is to call the dealer you plan to have install it. There's no blanket labor rate.

The reflash is already in the price of the intake. It's a no-brainer to install an intake on a car. So what I would do is basically just installed the intake on your own and driving into the dealer to get reflash. Simple easy done.

And just because you install it doesn't mean the warranty is void.

Exactly what I did today. I picked up my intake, installed it, and returned to the dealer to have them flash the ECU. I should have it back tomorrow. I'm interested to see if the difference is anything notable, or if it's just louder.

Not all dealers will do this some wont flash unless they do the install just a heads up ask before you drive all the way to the dealer.

They may complain about it but in the end they have to. It's a big no no as a franchise to deny manufacturer paid labor, especially from a factory part. A quick call to GM customer relations will change the dealers mind.

True...

If a dealer refuses it.. and the instructions say they are supposed to and you have the codes and numbers FOR THEM to call in and do the work and the code for them to get paid...

Generally you have to call in and make an appointment for it anyways. Just let em know you have the codes and numbers to call. So they dont try charging you about 130$ for a reflash.

If they refuse, and its not a cali thing for emissions. Go elsewhere and visit the bbb, yelp, and leave a review.

Dealers can be sh*tty and shady but that usually slows down once people expose it.

Know your rights and dont let them bait you into making extra cash of you being shy or not smartened up on it.

Let them get over on someone else.

That price is way too high! I posted this on the other V6 intake systems thread earlier this month.

I found a pretty good deal on the GM performance V6 intake yesterday, at least it was the least expensive I've seen it yet.
$371.25 here: https://www.shopchevyparts.com/perfo...-92299275.html

They also have a 5% discount for new customers. This more than covered the shipping cost. Unfortunately (for me) they were shipping it from Jacksonville, FL so I had to pay tax on it.
I changed the link from my original post as it didn't work this AM when I checked it. Also, it's (the CAI) ridiculously easy to install, I did it in about 35 minutes.
I did get a check engine light after a day or so but my son in law (GM tech) stopped by my house on his way home and did the re-flash with his laptop. That took all of about 10 minutes. Been CEL free for over two weeks now.
