35k on tires and moving

Tires feel like they must be 35 psi on all 4 corners. Warmed up with minimal driving will increase them to 36-37 psi. Tpms doesn’t seem to recognize them if they aren’t the stock pirellis. Sensors might be worn out but not worried about it due to the fact that they get checked before every start up and still get reed fairly well on the dash after relearning... Eventually will be replaced.

High maintenance tires but worth every penny. Catch myself driving faster than everyone else in the Chicago snow or rain.

I run these on all 4 corners. Fronts are 275/35 and rears are 315/35. The fronts are only the second set on there and am at 118k on the odo. The first set on the front I got 65k out of !! Keep the alignment right and the pressures at 35 cold all the time. I really like these tires. The rears,,,we on the 3rd set of those. lol. Great tires and worth it.

TPMS doesn’t recognize them? TPMS doesn’t know if you put whitewalls from the 1950s....it measures air pressure. But TPMS is driven by batteries in each sensor, which it appears have died in your case. I changed all 4 sensors when I put new tires on back in September after almost 11 years (but only 17000 miles).....as you have higher miles, the sensors need to be replaced.

That’s the one I’m looking at. The ultra performance summer.

No, they are the DWS06'S.. I just went to look. Sorry if I confused anyone.. I thought they were all the same. These that I have are supposedly a new blend of compound than the first set I had on there, so they said. I had to wait a bit when I ordered them for them to come in as the compound I had before had been discontinued.

Ahh gotcha. Im not sure how you have traction at all with that amount of power you are putting down. I break loose constantly and I dont put down what you do. I have thought about going with the Sports next time as they are a summer tire and should be stickier. Not to say these are good tires though. I have always had great luck with Continentals. Our old 2003 Mazda MPV had a set after the ones that came with it and only changed those years later due to them dry rotting. I think they were on there for around six years and still had most of their tread left lol. There again, when we sold it, it only had 77K miles on it.

Really? I’ve only ever seen positive reviews. I was also looking at another set of Nitto Invos or Falken Azenzis. The Michelin PSC are over $2k.

lol, yea getting traction is really tough, especially if I romp on it with the 4200 stall!! Gotta feather into it and they still break loose at 40mph!! I even had the MPSS's on there, 335/30/20 AND still couldn't hook them up either, but also I don't want to run DR's on the street either. Been there done that with my SC'd Mustang. So I just be easy or put on a smoke show..lol.

Yup, for anything more than touring they suck. Break loose easily. They are OK in the rain. The MPSS weren't much better. I run Pirelli's up front and The new Nitto nt555r2 in the rear. Track great, great in the rain, and stick on launches and 40mph rolls.

Thank you. Decent tread life with the 555?
