Here are a few pics from the Texas Mile, Thanks to John Park III....

I've mentioned it before, but notice the brake rotor discoloration. They were nice and shiny silver before the last two full runs...

The little sticker in the upper right side of the windshield is proof that the car has tech'ed to run over 190.

The pics with the hood up are when we were diagnosing what happened on the last run... The first pic with the hood up shows Justin, Corey's fabricator and mechanic on the passenger side of the car... He finished my car's roll cage and hand fabricated my custom one off exhaust manifolds from scratch...

And the Three Musketeers are...

Justin, (CamaroSkooter) a really good friend and owner/operator of the video cameras used during my runs. Always a pleasure to be around...

Me...

Corey Henderson, owner operator of Henderson Performance Tech in New Braunfels... The builder and brain behind my car, he makes it go and coaches me in how to make it go faster...Not only is he my builder, he has become one of my very best friends...

Well, today sucked so far... lol...

I got up at 3:45 this morning to head to the airport for a flight to Lafayette Louisiana, via Houston... Flight to Houston is fine, and so is the flight to Lafayette, other than we couldn't land... The airport was socked in with fog and visibility was down to 0/0... We flew around for a little bit and then turned back to Houston.... If we had landed on time, I would have just made it to the silly class I am all of a sudden required to have...

So, we land back in Houston, and no one there can tell us when the airport in Lafayette may reopen.. So...I contact my office and make arrangements to fly back to Austin... and here I am... Sitting in my recliner about to take a nap...

I feel your pain I pretty much toasted my stock front rotors from running the road courses. Working on a deal for a set of DBA 5000 slotted rotors.

So, you got a "free" airplane tour of east Texas?

That sounds...boring...

I got a free, painful, tour of the cloud tops from East Texas to Lafayette and back....

I was trying to get a boarding pass back to austin that my companies travel dept had already arranged for... and I was fortunate to find and wind up working with the most sleepy headed "I don't care" customer service person I've ever dealt with... Even the lady that came over and told him how to do everything apologized to me for the way he was acting... That was 25 or so painful minutes,...
