i havnt seen the dash on camaro, but what do the 4 pack gauges monitor on the 1ss. thanks for the info

1ss doesn't come with the 4-pack.

1SS doesnt come with the gauges ... I'm in the process of buying them to install. It monitors different temps within the car. oil etc. Just another easy way to keep a watchful eye on your baby.

yes i understand 1ss does not come with them but what i am asking if for instance if the 4 pack monitors oil pressure then is there a oil light or a pressure gauge on the dash board

I just got the 4 pack and I have had my 1SS for a year today. The driver's information center gives you all that you need but sometimes you must jog through it to find what you want. I was shocked that an SS did not have an oil pressure gauge. That is corrected now. The dic does have volts though and the other 2 gauges for the temperatures are new to me anyway, I never had these in any car before. The 2 things that I wanted from the 2SS I now have. The other thing was the Boston Accoustics that I ordered with my car. I did not want the leather trimmed vinyl interior, I prefer cloth.

Here's something to throw out there as well. I just noticed this on my way in to work this morning. The increments are not the same across each gage...check this out
Oil Pressure - 0 - 30 - 70; the difference between 0 and 30 is 30 (duh), but between 30 and 70 is 40. And 30, while it appears as the middle of the gage, is not the middle of the range...the same goes for Volts and Trans Temp, while Oil Temp is ok...
WHY??? Why could they not make the increments even???

Which makes me wonder if the gages are calibrated correctly so that if the oil pressure is 30, the needle is on 30, and if it is 50, the needle will be correctly pointing to the middle hash between 30 and 70.

Please tell me I'm not the only one to notice this, being the anal data guy that I am.

installed on my 1ss too, I never use them..they look cool and remind me of the old Camaros. Gives it a retro look. My Dad even commented about them.

I heard that someone installed the gauge pack on a 1ss & it didn't function. apparently that info was wrong???

I know there is a Oil Pressure idiot light on the dash.

Uh the gauges work on every 2010 Camaro. I have a 1LT automatic, and I bought the gauges. First thing I changed to my car. Looks and functions AWESOME. =D
