Need an independent test to confirm Evan's hero run which was done in April compared to just recent examples that we are learning about.

Hopefully someone can actually pull it off, unlike the 9.65 Demon pass.

I agree, need to see if its a consistent car or a hero run. Either way it is a really nice car. I think the Ford vs Ferrari movie coming out is going to help it. I will raise awareness outside the enthusiasts re:Shelby

I'm looking forward to the movie myself. Although the GT40 is a modified Lola GT...

Coming from a GM guy, I believe Ford did a great job with the GT500 (from everything that I am hearing).

My only concern is the price. A base GT500 starts at $74,XXX. You can purchase a 2020 ZL1 1LE for $76,XXX. If you want the Track Pack on your GT500, you're getting into the $90k+ range.

I get it. The DCT is very pricey and the Track Pack does include a lot of real carbon fiber, but geez... If someone is in the market and they're not a die-hard GM or Ford guy, I would assume that most people will purchase the cheaper car.

and don't forget the ADM, i'd bet zero people got a CFTP car under 6 figures. some got a base at MSRP, but not the big dog.

i'm ready to see a base car on some forgelines and a replica wing.

And there's more left in it. So much for the hero run claims lol.

No, it’s 760 at the crank and being run on a dyno.
