gas fill problem

Does anyone have my problem with gas fill-up. I have to physically hold the nozzle by hand in fairly upright position to fill Camaro. Can not use auto fill flip on nozzle to fill by itself. Any thoughts?

Yeah I've had the same problem. I think it's partly the Chevy tank setup cause this would happen on my Avalanche as well. But I think it only happens with "Healy" nozzles, which for some reason now dominate my local gas pumps.

owned gm's my whole life and never had a problem maybe your pump handle at your gas station is short.

I've only filled mine once. I went with the dealer when we did it on delivery day to make sure they put 93 octane in mine. I didn't have a problem with that particular pump (it was a BP station). But I've heard others report this same problem.

I've heard of several people with this problem. I am not one of them. I think it might be something to do with the pump.

No problems here either, I think the autofill thing is a function of the pump isn't it?

I had an issue the first time I put gas in mine. Simple re-seated the nozzle and tried again. Haven't had a problem since (~5 tanks later...)

Mine does this, I always have to hold the nozzle or it will just shut off.

I'd had this problem. So far, I've only had the problem at Exxon. Must be a gas station specific thing.

Yeah, my Buick does it too. If I pull the nozzle out a little, it will work. So much for the greenie's evaporation nozzles.
