ZL1 90mm TB Upgrade - 13RWHP

From all of our testing with Roots/Twin Screw blowers we know that removing restrictions PRE compressor provides huge benefits.

When we first saw the ZL1 TB we knew it was going to be a restriction measuring 87mm. We decided to toss on our un-ported 90mm and we were not surprised at all. 13RWHP and 11RWTQ.....Strap yourself in for our ported TB results that will blow you away....those will have to wait until our GM High Tech Performance Magazine article comes out.

We have a few different options available in terms of TB ranging in price from $150-$499.95 depending on what power level you are looking for.

Good question! Perhaps the lesser HP increases don't need a tune?

How about a TB without a tune, just swap it out.

tune = voided warranty

It seems essential that to apply a tune you wont void your warranty. For me if I end up pulling a trigger on ZL1 next year >> after the dealers quit trying to stick us for xtra $$; I want any upgrades to be capable of returning to bone stock for any warranty work.

Whats the point of a few extra HP if I lose the warranty?? Am I missing something there? As a point, once the warranty is over; the Katy bar the door on the upgrades.

Some of the upgrade companies include a 1 year or 2 year warranty on there performance packages. But if your going to add a piece here and a piece there and it voids the warranty then yea the fix is coming out of your wallet. Also if you buy some after market parts and get a tune etc
dont think just placing the stock parts onto your car is going to save you as far as keeping your warranty is concerned.
