Has anyone tried to use a vinyl wrap on their wheels? Wondering how it would hold up to the heat and brake dust?

Unless the wrap had a silver foil base, like an engine sticker, I don't think it would hold up to the heat cycles.

I actually wrapped the inside of the wheels on my 5th gen. I just finished trading the car in with the wheels still wrapped. Had it on there for 3 years and it held up pretty well. Some very slight peeling on the edges on just a couple spots had started but not bad at all. It still looked great overall.
