True, the differences between 12 and 13 ss models is minimal. The reason it is cost prohibitive to do a 12 1LE retrofit is because it is a lot of different parts. At the factory, it is easy to build a 1le from scratch, much more expensive to remove the existing parts that have already been built into a 12 and replace then with the 1le parts. That is why everyone is saying if you want a 1le, just buy a 13.

You'd have to buy all the pieces yourself and have them installed which would be stupidly expensive. Anything can be done for the right amount of money, but its not gonna be as easy as dropping your car off at the dealer. Sorry. |

Considering you didn't even know what the 1LE entailed and were simply going by pictures, perhaps you just want the black hood and wheels? Paint the hood flat black (no clear coat so I suggest you keep it out of the elements as much as possible) and buy the black ZL1 wheels. Adding all the performance mods is going to cost you a fortune, along with another fortune to have them installed.

Thats a plan. See if you can talk to Chase at Apex they know how to get you the suspension parts that you need for the ride that you want. Who knows maybe doing it this way you will like the out come more than a stock 1le
