Like to see how these hold up after a few thousand miles. I read another post on these from 2010-2013 and a lot really liked them! I just can't believe how cheap the price is on them from their website. Now have choices on which ones to go with.

Mine have about 30,000 miles on them. They are still awesome!

Did they just mount right up to the exhaust? I have the 2.5" piping catback from borla. Did you have to dimple them anywhere to fit? I see they are only 317 or something like that.

needed to be dimpled. I had ECS do it for me. My brothers had to fix it up right for me. Replaced the hardware and they've been right as rain ever since.

Hey guys, I’m new to the forum and I’m sorry if the answer is on here and I’m just not seeing it but I am very interested in ordering this system but want to run cats. I see some of you are saying you’re going to buy cats so my question is, are you buy just high flow cats or are you buying a mid-pipe with cats to fit in the system? If you’re buying just the cats how do they fit in the system?

Just three major components make up your exhaust:

Headers - Pipes coming from the engine.
Mid-pipe - next set of pipes that connect your headers to the rest of your exhaust.
Catback - the rest of your exhaust.

Your cats are your mid pipes on these cars. You replace the mid pipes when you install LT headers. The options you have when you remove your mid-pipes/cats (because you have to remove your stock mid-pipe/cats in order to install LT headers), are 1) catless mid-pipes - just a tube that connects your LT headers to your catback exhaust for maximum flow, or 2) a set of high flow cats that connect the same way - keeping you legal in some states.

Your mid-pipes hold your O2 sensors also. Due to changes with the exhaust flow, you will need a tune to avoid engine codes... and of course, to maximize power.

Is this set-up too loud for a convertible?

Guys, SOLO and JBA make some great HFC's. Grab a set and any good muffler shop can make them work - even if they have to weld them on.
