Sell my 22s and get drag wheels?

Ok, I'm new to modded cars. I am still learning, so be gentle.

I bought a set of 22" Savinis for my car last spring. They look beautiful on the car, but I've added some horsepower (supercharger, headers, etc.) and I'm now more interested in wheels that will compliment the 500 rwhp (soon to be 600 rwhp) of my car. When I bought the 22s I didn't anticipate putting in a supercharger. Oh how my perspective has changed since I started modding my car!

I can't afford to keep the Savinis and buy another set of wheels. Is there such a thing as a really good-looking set of wheels that would work on the drag strip and on the street? I am thinking of getting 18" rims. Recommendations would be great.

Here are a couple of pics of my car and the 22" wheels on it. Do you think I can sell these and recoup a reasonable amount of money on them? Your advice is much appreciated.

How much to you want to spend. You can get the 18" Z06 wheels and drag radials for anywhere between 1k and $1200. That setup works well but if you want a slick then you need the 17's and the wheels alone are $1450 + lugs. But I'm sure you already know that.

I'd like to do a bit more homework before deciding, but if I sell the 22s, they will include tires and sensors.

Wife said nay... LOL, she is more function than form so doesnt like those kind of mods. I sold her on the springs and sways b/c the handeling improvment but other then that, looks mods are hard sells! She'd be easy to sell on a supercharger but not wheels!

Our conversation:

me- "you like these? they may be for sale"
her- "yea but I dont want them"

then she left... HAHA!

I say go for it, look at Forgestar. Maybe not 18's, but I know the F14's are made in 19's, pretty light, and look amazing.

Who makes a 19" drag radial? That has got to be very $$$
