EXACTLY the point- it "looks nice", a little understatement in my opinion, but that's what im going for; good, distinct classy look, great sound system and a solid respectable engine with a deep throaty "look and me" sound.

Superchargers and crazy lights aren't made for everyones tastes

Got my Stainless Works 1 7/8" LT Off-Road (no cat) headers installed today...

WOW! What a difference! Now THIS is how an SS should sound! Absolutely amazing! Gotta give a shout-out to Tyler Manion and the guys at Extreme Performance in Palm City (and C5 forum sponsors) for an excellent job!

Check back for the drive-off and drive-bye vids later, once the wife gets home!, but for now, here's a grainy before and after (the after actually distorts the camera sound!!!!)

After driving for a day/night; let me tell ya- I've crossed the line from the low rumble of a daily driver with just the cat-back, to a full on sound of a "race-car" as my wife says! Even trying to be quiet- it just isn't! The sound is so aggressive you actually feel it! Even at idle, not sure if the headers had any physical effect or if its just the sound emphasizing it, but the car rumbles and vibrates at idle and just feels like its waiting to be unleashed! Amazing!

Awesome car man. I just bought your blank canvas 2SS and love it. Had to go with the automatic due to an injury (kills me to have auto but it's nice to not have an ankle that doesn't look like a softball every night). Traded in an Infiniti G37S coupe and don't miss it.

I'm not planning on getting as adventurous as you did...but I have to do something to the exhaust. Maybe it's due to it being an auto but unless I'm really gassing it the exhaust note is snoresville. I don't want headers but need to do something along the line of an exhaust change out. I changed out the exhaust on an '04 Stang Gt to Flowmasters and an American Racing X Pipe which droned a bit and was too loud. I work in the hotel business so need to not be too loud when I pull into work.

Any suggestions?

Great car man. The parents live in Naples maybe I can swing by and check out the beast in person one day.

Your options are a little more limited with a vert...

Personally, I LOVE my Magnaflow comp cat-back. I actually like the sound better before the headers, it was a low aggressive sound that opened up really well under WOT...it got significantly deeper over time, but not too loud where I was annoying the neighbors. The Borla S has a killer tone and just barely louder than stock at idle, but also opens up under acceleration. I think the Atak would be a little loud for your application...FM just released an axle back, but I haven't heard it in person....just to give u an idea of my taste, the FM American thunder is what I wanted, its just not compatible....
