Plasti Dip Fever

Can't say enough about how great this stuff is - even someone like me with no patience and zero DIY skills can make it work. So far did:

- wheels
- tail bezels
- reverse light bezels
- everything black on my dad's jeep that had turned grey (fenders, bumpers, etc.

I love the white and blue and the rims. They have white plasti dip. I'm curious how that would look. only thing would be keep it white.

Dont recommend it on anything that can get dirt or grease on it. I plastidipped my wiper cowl white which looks great and still clean but I also plastidipped my rear diffuser white and while it looks good, it has specks of "dirt" on it that wont come off.

Op-Love the new look of your SS and the Jeep

The color combo is amazing! Love it. Plasti dip is definitely addicting.

Did you take off the wheels and spray them or leave them on the car? Your car looks very cool by the way.

I just did mine and left them on. I taped and covered the calipers and rotors. The whole thing took a few hours to do 4 coats. NOTE: Put something on the ground around the wheels as the overspray will hit the ground and unless you do 3-4 heavy coats overtop of it to be able to pull it up, it will be a PITA to get off.

Left them on - dont even need to mask off tires. Just put a trash bag around your calipers and spray away. The excess will peel off your tires easily. Check out plasti-dip on youtube, ots of good vids to help. Probably the easiest mod I've ever done!!!

I was in the Lowes in my town today and they had black and white PD in the rattle can. And to answer the question about removing it, Goo-Gone works great. It makes it melt away and wipe off with ease.
