Maybe they're going to be competing with Oshkosh in the heavy off-road truck market?

The reliability issues with the 3.6L scared me away from a new Colorado. Shame. It’s a neat looking truck.

That was my first choice as a daily driver and she eventually said no pick ups after I told her I was going to go look at a Tacoma. We settled on a small SUV and after starting with 9 contenders we narrowed it down to 3 and after head to head drive offs bought a 2018 CR-V. I was super impressed as I didn’t think I’d like it and it blew me away. Far, far better vehicle than the RAV4 or Equinox.

What reliability issues? Just curious.

The LGX has seemed pretty solid from what I can see. No widespread issues I've seen on this forum or on the Colorado forums. Maybe I missed something, but I've paid attention. Not since the LLT has the 3.6 had some fairly wide issues. The LFX was more mature and overall reliable. I've not had any issues with my past LLT or current LFX. Haven't owned a LGX.

As an early adopter of a 2017 ZR2, I marked one year of ownership today by giving it a good wash and a full tank of gas. I’m very satisfied with the truck. The only issue I’ve had is the replacement of defective console switches for the front and rear lockers shortly after taking delivery.

I think I heard that the 1st Raptor was intended to bend its frame when jumping: so as to not damage the suspension. Not sure how true that is, or how wise, but its something.
