exhaust upgrade without voiding warranty

Hi guys, i have a 2013 zl1 i bought about 2 months ago. I purchased an extended warranty on the vehicle and want to make it louder, any suggestions that will not void my warranty? i thought about solo high flow cats but didnt know if they would hold up or throw any codes. Anything i could do besides a different cat back and CAI?

Don't touch the cats if you're trying to preserve warranty. Your best bet is a cat-back, I would highly suggest the Corsa system.

How many miles on the car? More I drove mine the louder it got.

First mod I would try is a "fuse pull". It is free and runs the exhaust 100% of the time with the valves open.

We offer the mild to wild kits to take control of your dual mode exhaust.

The Corsa system is the best option to make it louder without any interior drone.

Rotofab is a really nice bolt on.

We also offer a 75 RWHP no tune kit for the warranty conscious.

Let us know if we can be of any assistance with your build.

Ted.

Rotofab cold air kit, ATI superdamper, 10% pulley, new crank bolt and new belt requires torco additive for 96 octane. but no tuning required.

I agree, with the flap always open it's plenty loud.

Did the fuse pull on all 4 of my NPP cars. It’s a very subtle increase. Very subtle. Especially since the ZL1s are open at neutral/park idle and above 3500-4000. The difference is essentially a bit more volume at cruising/low end.

Our American Thunder Cat-back system (part# 817609) will not void your basic, powertrain or extended warranty. The American Thunder system is manufactured from 409S stainless steel, has a Flowmaster 3.00" Scavenger X-pipe assembly and 3.00" Mandrel-bent piping included. This Cat-back system will bolt right up to the stock hanger locations on your Camaro and can be installed or removed in a short period of time using basic hand tools, no cutting or welding is necessary. If you have any questions about any of our intake or exhaust products for your Camaro, please give us a call at 707-544-4761.

How much Torco do you have to use? What happens if you don’t use any of the additive?

1 can per full tank or about 1/2 can at each fill up if your in the habit of filling just below half.

Reduced power, the computer will pull all the timing out and it will feel slower than stock.

That’s what I’m worried about. I guess my best bet is to upgrade the injectors to ensure proper fuel and stay away from the additive.
