Oh my, the price I pay to drive by the ocean on sunny days with the ragtop down 320 days a year is worth it.

Lived here my entire life and I have finally had enough. I agree the weather is unbeatable, but as far as driving, you can go stop light to stop light and then sit in traffic for hours. See u later, the negatives now outweigh the positives. And it’s only getting worse. Of course this is my opinion...

And if you think these huge registration fees go to the road, I have an igloo to sell you. Remember the lottery money for our schools, corruption at its finest..

Kansas includes personal property tax with license. A 2018 Corvette coupe listing at 69240 costs 1204 the 1st yr with a little drop each year. I also have a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 Off Road bought new. Plates this year are 360.00. My 2016 Z06 is registered(legally) in Ohio and 2yrs cost me 105..

California like NY, NJ, Mass, CT and many other Democratically run States love their TAXES. Have to pay for all those social programs some how.

Yes, I love my Social Program Freeway.
No toll roads for this Camaro.

I agree on the taxes. But My Registration doesn't even come close to what Comifornia costs . Think my registration was like 98 dollars for 3 years . I'll be moving in about 6 yrs .

I've never driven on a toll road in Ohio (where originally from) or in Texas that was owned by the state. Only toll road I've been on is privately owned and no state taxes in Texas.

Good for you.
Toll roads are the biggest rip-off!

Come move to Georgia. The weather is nice and there are plenty of empty highways through rural areas. And my registration fee is only $21/year.

In Ontario it costs 125 a year for each plate not a real big deal but tax on gas is huge 1.30L and half of that is tax so to fill the Ram is 170$ right now and going up with new carbon tax being brought in by a gov that is out of touch with reality.

California would be such a great place if not for the commies running it.

I pay $60 a year registration for my Camaro in Tennessee, with no income tax. And we don't have toll roads either.
