VinylJunkie soon to become BoostJunkie?

Our friend Sam first saw the Gen. 5 Camaro Supercharging System from Vortech when I brought our in house SS test mule to the B&M/Hurst open house in Chatsworth, CA. Sam was so impressed with the look and performance of the Vortech System that when he heard we needed additional vehicles for R&D, he jumped at the chance to add some Vortech boost to his Silver Ice Metallic LS3. Here at our facility now, his SS is getting treated to the installation of our V-3 Si-Trim Supercharging System with Air-to-Air Charge Cooler. This system adds nearly 50% additional horsepower to a stock LS3 or L99 Camaro, and has the potential for much, much more.

Here are some pictures of Sam's ride after the installation was complete.

The car made 448rwhp on our Eddy Current Mustang Dyno, which is a load-bearing dyno. On a Dynojet, it would easily clear the 500rwhp mark and then some. Car is 100% stock plus the out of the box Vortech System and tune, on 91 octane pump gas. The Supercharging System has the capability to support a whole lot more, but many of the vehicles coming through our facility are stock and are receiving the 3 year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty, which requires the out-of-the-box kit with its safe, conservative configuration to qualify.

With long tubes, a pulley swap, and a more aggressive tune, RMCR out of Colorado got 631RWHP!
