I had to grind as well to get factory struts to fit. Ended up going BMR/Strange later down the road. And the 2013 factory sway bar will not work. I went with the BMR drag bar. 275/60s have no rub issue but if you go bigger there may be a little trimming as stated above.

I also had to grind some of it off to fit. I finished it up today. Seems to be a 2 inch higher gap between tire and wheel well now.

I emailed Carlyle Racing and they told me that this kit should not have raised the rear suspension. This thing is definitely sitting 2 inches higher than the stock suspension. I loosened all the nuts and bolts then set the car on its on weight. Still the car sets this high. I suppose the only thing left is to get some lowering coilovers. Any helpful suggestions would be great.

I don't care what Carlyle Racing says it raises the back of the car, I have my measurements before and after it raised mine 3/4 to 1 inch.

On your car have you moved the car? if not the suspension will settle down if you just move it back and forth a few feet.

No, I have not moved my car at all. I still have to bleed the brakes. I was going to wait and get this figured out. Looking at the stock springs both springs are out of its groove and higher. I am thinking this set up is not made for stock shocks.

Since the brakes aren't done I would push the car back and forth a few feet and see what it looks like then, you will be surprised it will settle.

I spoke with Carlyle about the Wilwood brakes that come in their kits. They said I could use my stock brembo banjo bolts in the wilwood caliper. They were wrong. Different size bolts. My point is, trust but verify, because people get it wrong sometimes.

What is your overall tire/wheel height? Mine is about 27inches. I know were using different suspension components, but I was able to get about 1/2' out of the gap by timing the bushings. I had to prop the car up on bricks or whatever, then jump up and down in the trunk to make it settle. Then tighten all bolts from underneath. Good thing I had an assistant.

The pics arent showing the 1/2, just where I ended up. Still not perfectly even. This is with strange coilovers set in the middle, then backed down about 1/4 inch.

some friends talked me out of the carlyle kit, said bmr was the way to go. but its alot more $. hope you get it sorted out.

Also, about the end links.. I would not connect it to the LCA until the car is at ride height. Then pull the swaybar down to a neutral position, and adjust the linkage until both are the same, then tighten the bolts, then tighten the nut.

From the ground to the fender is 32 1/2". Only reason I didn't use BMR is because I wanted to keep the emergency brake. I will loosen both sides and have a jumping party in the trunk.

I didnt lose my emergency brake. The aerospace brake kit does not re-use the stock ebrake, but the wilwood does.

I guess what I meant was, what size tire are you running on which wheel? I have read (and I'm not 100% sure about this) that the Carlyle lca's will only work with 15inch wheels made by Weld Racing. Without additional clearancing of the arms.

I purchased the full drag kit with welds. Not sure on the size of the tires.
