sure thing. The 2012 and newer v6 Camaro's got a new engine (LFX). They have integrated exhaust manifolds, rather than the 'normal' exhaust manifolds that have 6 outlets in the 2010 - 2011 LLT v6 motors. So they only have 1 large outlet on each side of the motor.

wtf? Why would GM do that? What was wrong with the old headers -> manifold?

not sure. the LFX motors also make a little more power, and that's probably one reason why, I guess.

They do make some excellent forced induction kids for the V6. No need to bash on the guy. Not everyone can go out and buy a ZL1 or Cobra. It's kind of one influential factor why people build modifications for otherwise basic/stock cars..

OP - my advice - don't jack up your stock V6 by power braking, or neutral dropping. Just put some cash away, and get a bolt on turbo kit/supercharger when ready. You'll have a 14 sec car suddenly running high 12s. Wolf in sheeps clothing.

Because my LFX has 11 HP more then your LLT engine! GM rated at 323 HP vs the LLT at 312 HP. I think biggest part of the gain the fact that they integrated the manifold into the head.

Dean.

that, and the composite intake manifold. buy a $150 part for the LLT (black ICE-olator) and that will make up the 11hp difference.

I don't know if it's the same on a ls model Camaro as I have a LS3, but my first car was a Pontiac Grand Am. If you let the car roll at about 5mph and pulled it in neutral the set 3500 rpm rev limiter would let you go to the redline. I would guess the engineering is probably the same.
