Still spinning

Went back to the track last Sunday with the SJM linelock installed and I can not stop spinning. I’m probably as close to a perfect light as possible but I’m spinning past the 60’ what’s my problem?

315/30/20 rears 285/30/20 fronts on the stock 1le rims with 35psi. I’m probably running a 2 to 3 60 foot they said my slip didn’t print and only had time for one run

Woof.. you need to ditch those 20's for a 17×10 and run a bias ply slick on a tire closer to the 275 range.

Lighter, more sidewall, go with a good Mickey Thompson and lower your tire pressure down from 35psi <--- to about 25 psi to start with, and I bet your 60' drops drastically.

On stock tires I had to drop psi down to 28-30 psi, with 60’ around 1.90 if I rolled into the throttle with finesse to reduce the spin. Switched to 17” M/T ET Streets and dropped my 60’ down to 1.60.

I have racestars 18x10.5 just need to find some tires. I’m going to try 25psi at the track today. Maybe I’ll get the slips since this is a nicer track.

Acammer gave me a technique to try, he said flash up the rpms as I leave the line instead of holding them at 4500 and slipping the clutch. So I’m going to try that. Are you on Instagram?
