The C5 ones I never tried but I think the guy that bought my car said that's what he was using so this may work.

As for C6 I did have them and even w/ a spacer we took a grinder to the back side of the spokes to get just a little more over the Brembos..

I'm still in the don't-plan-to-get-nuts camp with my car, but I want to run some drag radials this year. That SuperChevy article link was interesting but 1.7's vs 1.8's I don't think there was much to get excited about in that article. I was hoping to see some 1.4's and 1.5's in there.

I think I'll run some 20" DR's this year and step up to some 17x10 based tires next year.

I've pulled 1.5's on Nitto's...the 555R's.

However, I have done a lot of research and reading up on them, so....

My understanding is that the C5 Z06 18x9.5 (+40mm offset) will fit the rear of our Camaros (with Brembos) without the use of any adapters or spacers. Yes, you will have to clamp back your emergency brake cables, which you will have to do with any 18" or smaller wheel. I'm not sure about the C6 wheels, but I would assume they would fit too (but I can't guarantee it). And yes, the bolt pattern on these is 5x4.75", and it will fit just fine. The difference is literally .03". If you not comfortable with the bolt pattern, then run some hubcentric rings with the wheels.

This place (http://www.wheelreplica.com/z06.html) used to sell a 18x10.5 (+53mm offset) that would also fit without any spacers or adapters. As seen here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=174122

Mlee actually sold a few sets of them, but last I heard they were all gone, and that vendor was not planning on getting any more. I sure wish I would have bought a set of them when they were available!!! Maybe with enough "pressure", that wheel replica place will actually request some more???
I hear you have to break those little roller things off the calipers. They might be for heat, not sure but they get in the way of the Z06 18's.

Yep, you're correct. They are there to reduce harmonic vibrations in the brake system. Most people around here call them "Roller Skates". And yes, you do have to take them off. I forgot to mention that because my very early 2010 didn't come with them.

Only the front pads have the roller skates so if you are doing rear only....not an issue.

Since I'm also interested in this setup, I hope someone can validate this information or give us the straight "skinny".
The 18" corvette wheels will not work unless you buy spacers. The spacers you will need cost $135 each. This means it's not worth using the C6 wheels. I know because I tried and have C6 wheels (18"). Just buy light wheels that will fit. Buy the way I have 2- 18" X 10.5" 5 spoke C6 wheels for sale.
