Well, I finally did it. After the better part of a decade with out a fast car, I made the plunge and bought my second Camaro. I present to you Stormy, my '18 SS 1LE:

I bought my first Camaro new, a '99 3.8Ltr V-6 that put down a massive 200hp. It wasn't the fastest car on the road, but it was fun to drive. Over the intervening 2 decades there have been a whole slew of fast cars and bikes, but never another Camaro. Until now.

When I went to the dealer on Monday to look at Camaro's I told myself I wanted a V6 1LE. "335hp is plenty of power" I told myself. "Heck, it's 5 more ponies than my '96 LT4 Corvette had" I said. Apparently I did a crappy job of convincing myself. As soon as I heard the sales guy start her up, I knew I was in trouble.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm loving this car. Mod's are going to start off small and cosmetic for the time being. 455hp will have to be enough.

There are a few shortcomings with the interior that need to be addressed. Like the acres of hard plastics. Any suggestions on where I can find upgraded interior pieces?

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
